Kate finds a delicate balance manipulating space, light and materiality to evoke an emotional response. She believes by subconsciously expanding and contracting to our surroundings we awaken the senses and the mind.

What’s her favorite space?

“The room we call the Parlor; where I work. It is a sun-filled loft with brick walls, an olive green exposed ceiling, and a view of the city. The warmth of the sun reminds me of the sunroom in my childhood home. It’s the perfect blur of the interior to the exterior.”
